Jean-Michel POVEDA

 

Born in 1962 in Algiers, I live and work in Brie Comte Robert.

Training ABC school in Paris (drawing and painting lessons) and CNED Art Plastiques (Technical initiation and creativity)

It was in 1964 that my parents moved to Toulouse where I spent part of my childhood.

A significant period in my life when I liked to smell the smell of oil paint that came from the living room where my father painted portraits and landscapes. It was in this atmosphere that I felt the need to express myself artistically.

After learning how to mix colors and the technique of oil painting given by my father, it was at the age of ten that I painted my first painting.

I very quickly explore my own cultural fields: African art, the origin of man and nature; Cultural fields that allow me to forge my own universe of references.
